Hay Bales was created after a roadtrip to the Great Northwest, where I spent time with a family member who taught me how to work with coldwax and oil paint. Painting with coldwax is like painting with buttercream frosting, it's luscious and looks delicious. Once the coldwax and oil dried, I used a series of Sennelier oil sticks to make marks throughout.
